Menstrual health education and period awareness training for organisations

Finally, we're talking about periods at work

Periods have never needed to be awkward. What's awkward is that most of us have just got used to not mentioning them at work.

What the research tells us

It's already happening in your team, quietly

Most of us learned early on that periods aren't something we bring up at work. And many of us got so good at not mentioning them that, from the outside, it can genuinely look like there's nothing to talk about. The research tells a different story.

53%

of women have been unable to go into work at some point because of period symptoms. For some, that's every single month.

49%

never tell their manager the real reason. Not because it isn't real, but because they worry it'll be trivialised. So it shows up in your absence data as something else.

12%

of organisations offer menstrual health support today. But we've watched this shift before. Menopause went from unmentionable to mainstream in a few short years. Periods are next.

None of this needs to stay the way it is. The organisations opening up these conversations now are the ones setting the standard for everyone else to follow.

About

Hi, I'm Lucy

For years, I pushed through. I'd have weeks where I felt sharp, energised and totally on top of everything, and then weeks where I felt foggy, flat, and like I was working twice as hard for half the result. I assumed it was just me.

When I finally understood what was actually happening, how my hormones were shifting and what that meant for my energy, focus and mood, everything started to make sense. And once it made sense, I could actually do something about it.

That's what I want for every woman I work with. Simple, clear information that makes sense of what's going on, and helps everything click into place.

These days, I bring that same understanding into organisations. I've spent years inside office environments myself, commuting into London and working in high-pressure, target-driven roles, so I know how workplaces really run and what teams are quietly carrying. My work gives organisations a clear way to understand something many of their people are already feeling, and to support it openly, so it shows up in how their teams feel and how they work.

Good questions

A few things you might be wondering

Is this just for women?

Everyone's welcome, and everyone takes something from it. It's rooted in women's health, but colleagues, managers, partners and parents all leave understanding more. That shared understanding is a big part of what makes a workplace feel supportive, and some of the warmest feedback we get comes from the men in the room.

Will it feel awkward?

It's a fair thing to wonder, because for so many of us this has always been a slightly hushed topic. But it's genuinely one of the most relaxed sessions your team will sit in. I hold a warm, safe space where people feel comfortable, we keep things light and easy, and people tend to open up far more than they expect to.

Can you deliver in person and online?

Both. I deliver in person across the UK, and online wherever your team is based, so location's never a barrier. Sessions work just as well either way, and we'll pick whatever suits your team and setup best.
